they say it is difficult to truly mourn someone you don't know personally. i don't find that so. a truly great actor, charlton heston, has passed away at age 84. he has suffered from alzheimer's disease. he was a good man, even though i didn't agree with some of his politics. he will be sorely missed in the world of thespians and their fans. may you "break a leg" in heaven, MR. HESTON!

I had read that he passed but did not stop to read the details. He is a legend for sure. I was not aware that he'd had Alzeheimer's. That's so sad. I hope that some day that a cure is found as well as it's source discovered. I didn't agree with alot of his politics either. He is a loss to the acting community for sure.
