ONE JOB WOMAN........AGAIN

well, it is official..........i only have one job now.  and i am LOVING IT!!  i have a good schedule.........MONDAY ON, TUESDAY OFF, WEDNESDAY ON, THURSDAY OFF EVERY OTHER WEEK, FRIDAY ON EVERY OTHER WEEK AND SATURDAY ON.  it breaks up the week so i don't get too stressed out.  wednesdays are senior citizens day and i learned how to "guess" if people were seniors and give them the 10% discount.  i only messed up once, lol.  but i fixed it quickly and efficiently, lol.

i got another bonus in today's paycheck, which makes 9 bonuses in not quite 4 months of employment.  now that is a company i can be a team player with.  i got my last auto deposit paycheck from the old job today.  it was $25 more than i thought it would be.

i have a visitor almost every morning now, outside my upstairs window.  my wild bunch kitty, gray, sits out there waiting for me and my indoor kitty to come say hello.  and i am still feeding whoever comes around.  all i had the other night was old pringles, so i broke them up, put some tuna juice over them and they were gone the next day, lol.

the housemate came to my new job the other day to buy some things.  i think she figured i wasn't there, but i fooled her.  she never spoke when she came in, and when i walked past her, i patted her shoulder and said hello in a cheery voice, and when she came to the counter to check out, i let the other cashier wait on her, but i did speak to her while she was being checked out.  she tried to not look at me or respond at first, but when i told her repeatedly that i had quit my other job, she finally spoke, saying well that is good, i guess.  i asked her if she was buying the baseball glove for her grandson and she briefly said yes.  that was the extent of the encounter.  i guess she is still angry with me for writing the letter to her telling her not to "steal" from me again.  i tried to be nice, but firm, in the letter.  oh well, her loss.

i hate only having hour intervals here on the computers at the library.  i hope i will be able to buy a new one when i get my government check in may.  i think they are waiting till everyone files their 2007 taxes before they send out those checks.  then they can send them all at one time.

thanks to everyone who commented on my last entry.  good to see you guys hanging around and being patient with me.  i promise, soon i will be back in force.  i will have poetry and prose to share, as well as pictures of my crafts and my kitties.  i bought a camera with flash at my salvation army store for a couple of bucks today and i already have the film, so maybe i can get some good pics INSIDE now.  my little digi cam doesn't have a flash.

the weather is erratic here in georgia.  one day, 65-70 degrees........the next a high of 36 degrees, with a low of 23.  we don't know how to dress.  i have been suffering with a severe sinus condition, verging on infection.  but then, the warm weather brings along the pollen.  sigh...............I AM DOOMED, lol.

i stopped by mcdonalds this AM to take advantage of the free breakfast burrito they offered.  now that was really different.  i would never have thought to put peppers and salsa on my sausage/egg/potato burrito.  i guess that is what makes it a burrito, lol.  it was very interesting.

i have tons of things to do, so better bit you all a farewell.  i shall return.......................
