i just can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit........i guess it is because i never have any money at this time of year. i love buying presents for others..........sigh.
so if anyone who reads my journal could put some helpful hints in my comments section, as to "how to have a wonderful Christmas", it would be greatly appreciated.
in fact, this is a great idea.........it helps you think, it helps you get ideas for yourself, as well as helps others see uplifting ideas.
hope everyone out there in journal land is having a great holiday season, and i wish you a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS

bake cookies
Watch some Christmas movies. My favorites are 'It's A Wonderful Life', 'Christmas Vacation' and 'A Christmas Story'. And bake some cookies to eat while you're watching. Oohh, I love the holiday season.

just becuase you dont have any money , doesnt mean christmas should bring you down.try to remember what christmas is all about . its about the birth of christ. and that should bring a smile to your face because thats what its all about. with out him we would be going to hell. smile sweety and just know that the love you have inside and share with other people is the biggest gift you could give anybody. and if that doesnt work watch the santa clause with tim allen always brightens my christmas.

of course, michael is right.........JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON. but i still get depressed when i can't do for others due to lack of money. thanks for the great suggestions so far.........i love to watch christmas movies, but i can't eat cookies.........i am diabetic........and i don't have access to an oven at all times. i used to love baking cookies and decorating them when my daughter was little. but back then i could enjoy them after baking.
i love christmas music too, but living in a house with others, you have to watch how loud you play it, and i like it LOUD, lol.
my christmas dream is to win or inherit a large sum of money (and i mean LARGE) so that i could play santa to people who feel the way i do on holidays since i don't have family other than my daughter, who is always busy and off doing other things.
but keep those suggestions coming folks.............i love to see what others think.

Hi Regina!! I think Celeste gave you some good advice. Bake cookies, pies, candies of any kind and give them as gifts. It always makes me feel better when I have something to give and if it's something I made myself and I know they will enjoy it, it's even better. Like the necklace you made me. Hey, make them jewelry!
Merry Christmas!
